Get Your CPD Hours with MyCPD during the Summer Months
30/Jun/2008

During the summer period CPD seminar schedules typically take a break but the opportunity to rack up on CPD hours is still available through MyCPD.

Over the course of the first half of 2008 over 11,000 formal CPD hours were obtained by users through MyCPD. The number of hours obtained will be significantly more in the second half of the year, most in the last couple of months, as the deadline for Annual Returns looms. You can cut down on the stress at the end of the year by getting ahead of the game during the summer months.

The busiest time on the MyCPD site is between 4pm and 5pm but the MyCPD website is available at any time. If you can’t spare the time to complete a module you can do it in chunks – the system will automatically log your progress.

Some of the more popular modules in the first six months of this year were Life Assurance, Household Insurance & Consumer Credit. There are however 16 modules available to LIA members which cover a wide range of topics to meet the needs of QFAs and Grandfathered individuals who hold a CPD membership.

All modules are currently made available to all individuals; however it is the responsibility of the individual to choose the modules which will meet their formal CPD requirements.

Additional modules are in development and will be launched during the second half of 2008.
