Welcome to our web-site!
The QFA Board is a limited company made up of representation from The Institute of Bankers in
Ireland (IOB), The
Insurance Institute of Ireland (III) and LIA.
The QFA Board was primarily set up:
1. To establish the academic standards for all aspects of the
Professional Diploma in Financial Advice (formerly the QFA Diploma Course)
and examinations.
2. To establish and create awareness of the QFA
(Qualified Financial Adviser) qualification which has jointly replaced the
IOB's Certificate in Investment Advice, the III's
Financial Planning Certificate (ROI) and LIA's Associateship
qualifications.
3. To implement the Continuous Professional Development
(CPD) programme for holders of the QFA designation.
Our website provides details about the QFA qualification and the
related Professional Diploma in Financial Advice (formerly called the QFA
Diploma Course). In
addition we have an extensive section on the Continuous Professional Development CPD programme.
Should you have any queries in relation to the QFA Designation or the CPD
programme, or indeed if you have any suggestions as to how we might improve our
website, please do not hesitate to contact
us.
If you have any further
enquiries on the Professional Diploma in Financial Advice, or if you wish to enroll please contact
either The Institute of Bankers in Ireland on 01-6116500 (cpd@bankers.ie)
or LIA on 01-4563890 (queries@lia.ie)
