The QFA Board is a limited company made up of representation from The
Institute of Banking in
Ireland (IOB), The
Insurance Institute of Ireland (III) and LIA.
The QFA Board was primarily set up:
1. To establish the academic standards for all modules and
examinations leading to the QFA Designation.
2. To establish and create awareness of the QFA
(Qualified Financial Adviser) qualification which has jointly replaced the
IOB's Certificate in Investment Advice, the III's
Financial Planning Certificate (ROI) and LIA's Associateship
3. To implement the Continuous Professional Development
(CPD) programme for holders of the QFA designation.
